WOW Midnight UI Setup Guide

1) Uninstall and reinstall

• Reset to default in-game settings
  • Press Escape - Options - Defaults - All Settings
• Uninstall WoW
• Locate you old wow installation folder and delete it, this will remove all your old addons and settings. (C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft)
• Reinstall WoW

2) Download WoWUp and addons

• Download WoWUp with curse forge https://wowup.io/
• Install addons (Can skip Danders Frames if not healing)

  • Danders Frames
  • Details! Damage Meter
  • ElvUI
  • ElvUI WindTools
  • HandyNotes
  • HandyNotes: Midnight
  • Kaliel's Tracker (Midnight)
  • Leatrix Maps
  • Leatrix Plus
  • LuckyoneUI - ElvUI Layouts and Addon Profiles
  • Pawn
  • Plater Nameplates
  • Plumber
  • Skyriding Falcon
  • Syndicator
  • WarpDeplete Mythic+ Timer
• Download and install Raider.IO Desktop client
  • Create an account, Link your blizzard account, and login to desktop client.
    • Will install addon for you and keep it up to date. Set raider.io client to launch with pc

3) Configure addons

• Launch WoW - Enable and okay to out of date addons
• Load into a character
• If using Danders frames Click the Reload and fix option if the middle of the screen
• Close or click through Kaliel’s Tracker Popup
• Select Plater Nameplates on the popup on the top of the screen
• Select Baganator on the popup on the top of the screen
• Follow through the LuckyoneUI Install. if it has closed for any reason type /lucky install
• Configure addon setttings (Escape - Options - Addons Tab) NOTE IF AN ADDON SETTINGS ARE NOT LISTED HERE THERE ARE NO CHANGES MADE.

      • Enable Run autoScan on open auction house
      • Set default tab to selling
    • Baganator
      • Layout
        • Bag columns - 12
        • Check reduce UI spacing
      • Icons
        • Icon size 33px
      • Move you bag to where you want it and lock the window (in layout at the bottom)

      • Profiles - Import

        • Background color: 30% opacity
        • Header texture: none
        • Collapsed tracker text: none
        • Uncheck: Show Quest Log button
        • Uncheck: Show Achievements button
      • Other options
        • Uncheck: Show tooltip
        • Uncheck: Show quest details on world map (experimental)
      • Controls (left) → Visibility rules
        • Set to Hide: house, dungeon, mythic, raid, arena, battleground, pet battle
      • Main settings → Edit Mode
        • Move tracker: top left of screen
        • Move quest button: bottom middle of screen
        • Scale: 0.8
    • Leatrix Maps
      • Uncheck show coordinates
    • Leatrix Plus
      • Only check marks should be in the Text Tab
        • Hide error messages
        • hide zone text
    • Plumber
      • check all options in menus Except
        • Breaktimer (very top setting)
        • Nameplate: quest indicator
        • Nameplate: soft target
    • ElvUI
      • Escape - ElvUI - Profiles - Import - Paste each profile and press import. Must do all three
